Redesigning my bedroom

So I am trying to redesign my bedroom right now, to present ideas to my parents to hopefully get to change things up a bit, since I have really outgrown the bedroom that we put together for me when i was like 11.

Give me ideas and pictures of really cool bedrooms.

Paint a very relaxing color,and get as much open space as you can, try to put in a tv and game console so you and your friends can chill in there

I am going to try to do some stuff with light, i think. A large portion of my room has windows, but i might do something with that, and have track lights or something.

Fill up your walls with all sorts of stickers like NS, Saga, Jiberish, etc. And a ton of skiing posters. Or you can just print a ton of sick pics off the internet and use those as posters.

I have a shitload of posters, but I think I am going to try to cut down a bit.

I do have a poster for the winter of wells movie. That's the only thing left I need for my room: a picture of the Wells family to beat off to.

What i'm going to do to my room and i'm pretty stoked on it.

going to paint big streaks, up down wavy and stuff, then put a cavas in the middle so it has some depth.

Also going to do some thresh hold dot dot black and white work aswell

I'm actually in the process of redoing my room as well. I found a hammock that im sleeping in, painted the walls, and on one wall where there's no windows or doors I'm putting this full wall picture mural thing that my parents bought. http://www.muralsyourway.com/ripple-mural/ . My brother has one and it's like looking through a giant window, it's pretty cool

This is still one of my favorite (realistic) bedrooms I've seen. Some day, when I move out of this tiny apartment, I'll have a room just like that.

http://www.elegantwalldecals.com/category/living-bedrooms/ Kinda expensive for a sticker but wall decals are so dope. If you had your own vinyl cutter you could make some really unique ones (eric pollard style trees would be sweet)

I wish I could just imagine a bedroom and have it materialize in front of me.

Anyway, I'm thinking about having a big open wall of shelves and cubbies, with hanger rods, either in a much bigger closet than I have now, or open, cuz I'm a bit of a clothing whore.

I really want to have some cool lighting too, nothing like dark and creepy or weird, but creative.
