so everybody tell me .. you need a demo reel blablabla...so i decided to putt together cool & unused footage of last past year.... but its not a demo ... just fun with cool footage enjoy
One thing i didnt really like: the twixtor shots. I think every single one had some really bad warping. Comparing those to some of the beautiful shots you have in that edit makes me cringe a little.
there is really no set way to have a "perfect" twixtor shot. even the most pristine looking shots have something at fault. i would just avoid it as said above
You need to decide what this reel is showing. If its for cinamatography then yeah get rid of the slo mo stuff, your showing off your camera work not your post production skills. Its its post production your showing, start again. There is so much flickering going on. There are much better ways of faking slo mo then just using a plugin. Also the VC optical flare at the start is a little cliche.
I liked your timlapse from the restaurant and some of the footage look like it could be good, if it wasnt jumping around and flickering. Colour correction could help allot too, the dolly shot on the stage needs some colour love.
