Had a friend killed yesterday when he drove drunk.
guys really don't do it shit sucks, I don't need any vibes from anyone. just dont do it apently the people at the party told him not to drive because he was plastered, he made it all the way to a deli met another one of my friends who asked him again if he was good to drive he said yes and drove off and never made it home.
i feel you man, one of my buds just got a felony DUI and is probably gonna get a couple years. He ran into a tree, and it broke the passenger's leg, and he was a D1 water polo player. His leg is so fucked that he can't play anymore. Don't even think about doin that shit.
I have called the police before on a drunk driver. Its such a shitty situation because you are knowingly fucking this person over. That being said i would much rather put someone in jail for a DUI then have them kill themselves or someone else and up dead or in jail for manslaughter
All you have to do is close one eye? Works for me.
But seriously dumbest shit ever. I bet the friends at the party who talked to him are taking it hard. Think about talking to somone like an hour right before they die. Shit.
damn man, that sucks. one of my friends drove drunk and he got in a crash with an older man. the old guy died later that night. now hes serving many years.
Even though you asked not for vibes, im giving them to you. Because I know someone that was killed by a drunk driver, he was like my distant brother to me. Please please please don't drive drunk, even though you might only live 2 miles away.
a deed like this will never be looked at from the position of saving someone life even though it very well could be. for this dude you are to be commended, and i respect this. coming from a someone who has a close friend who also drove drunk and whose future is in doubt.
as for the op, i am sorry for your loss and wish you all the best... losing a friend is never an easy thing...
