This could be a really bad idea. I think it would be alright. What if NS had records. Not top rated members but things like... best Karma Feedback, Most reviews, highest rated video/photo. Things like this to get people to use all aspects of the site.
Other Ideas:
most posts ( bad idea probably cus people would post a lot-clutter)
most purchases in NS store etc...


just an idea... i think it would be kinda cool

yeah that'd actually be sick! The most purchases from ns store would bring in newschoolers some money!

Top rated would be an issue. When I first joined, my friend and I both gave each other 10s. Thus I had an average rating of 10. Thus I would be atop that leaderboard along with the thousands of other members who have done the same thing. Maybe some ratio of posts to karma or posts to average rating would be interesting.

or maybe just a minimum of like 20 ratings before you can be on the leaderboard

i think they should do like member of the month and thread of the month and of course troll of the month. kind of like an ns awards but do it every month. maybe picture and video of the month too
