Good job quitting story?

So my job is lammmee.. It's just a summer job so I'll be dipping soon anyway but I gotta say these people suck. Any good quitting stories I could use some inspiration. My last job I worked at a butcher shop and they screwed me over so I ordered a full pig like for a luau and just never showed up again haha who's topping that +++k for good stories

On friday i turned in my 2 weeks notice by signed letter and email to all three of my bosses saying thanks for the opportunity.

quitting a job by being a douchebag is a pretty idiotic decision OP. it only hurts you, your previous employer could care less about you, and the only thing you did was ruin a reference for yourself that you never know if you'll need.

Ya you have no idea what my last job was like.. and as for the reference I have plenty from people who aren't scumbags. If a place treats you right I believe in reciprocating, if they treat you poorly like to the point of criminally bad sorry I have to respectfully disagree and say thy can get fecked haha. I'm not gonna do anything outrageous and they will get my two weeks at this particular job but there's nothing wrong with wanting to hear a good quitting story right

listen im all about pranking a bad boss (and I plan on pulling a couple lighthearted pranks at my job I am leaving as well) but some places in the future may want to know about your work history as well as continuity, meaning can you hold a job, no matter how simple and stupid it may be. my two years at quizno's from 16 to 18 was actually important in the long run, funny enough.

i thought of a decent one to share. Not mine, a guy I worked with at a bank. Anyway this guy left soon after I started and since he was an account representative he had business cards.....a fucking ton of them as fate would have it.

He was on good terms with everybody but decided to make sure that nobody ever forgot him....by hiding a few hundred business cards in any and all locations of the bank. Under keyboards, behind monitors, in cash drawers, in every shelf of the safe, on top of security cameras, taped under desks, in flower pots, on the ceiling of the drive through teller stations....literally EVERYWHERE. The following summer after he left we found at least 100 something of them and continued to find them the following summer hidden in even more places. I thought that was pretty clever.

didn't quit a job but similar story.. I was able to get out of my Introduction to Ethics discussion on Fridays because I told the teacher I had to take care of an old lady in town every friday at that time. He bought it and I never lost points for not showing up.

also..I was supposed to take a my MacroEconomics final on a different day due to conflict with another exam. The teacher didn't show up so I left after 30 minutes.  He calls me an hour later saying he was very sorry and he wanted me to come in at that moment. I told him I had already left for home so i could not come in. Long story short he sent me the final via yahoo mail so I was able to cheat and get an A. (He wanted to skype it but I told him my parents computer didn't have a webcam). I trolled the shit out of him. The whole time I was in my dorm room with my friends drinking and celebrating the last day of school.

Exactly what I was looking for that's hilarious. And about the job continuity thing you're def right man which is why I'm not ditching these ppl straight out but my last job was to put it mildly intolerable. +++++k

I didnt quit. They don't call back. I worked for 2 hours and they sent me home because we had no customers and they havent called back. The restaurant was shitty anyways so whatever. And my dad is paying me to paint the house

i got myself fired from a sports store when i pro dealed a bike and sold it for profit. i went around braggin about it and when head office found out they we're like DUUUUDE YOU CANT DO THAT, PRO DEALS ARE FOR YOU NOT TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF. but, not quite like that.. you get the picture.

long story short, i made $500 turning over a bike and got suspended, with pay, followed by a firing/quit. they kind of fired me as i quit or something, it was weird. but it worked out.

was told i was going to be let go at the end of the shift that night, so i spent the rest of the night filling out the paperwork to get my 5 days paid vacation, then put in my 2 weeks.


courtesy of them telling me they were letting me go before putting it through the computer, i got 5 days paid vacation...and 5 more days of work because they couldn't override everything. And by that point, i was heading back to school anyway.

stat beating the shit out of yourself in front of your boss and when he calls security make it look like he did it, then tell him that you will go away if he pays you to keep everything you know about the company secret. you dont even have to go into the office for your job anymore.

Not me but a great story

I worked for a real estate developer for 4 years in NYC and worked with this kid from Wisconsin. Smart kid who had sort of drifted around the country from project to project once they were completed. Its not uncommon in this business.
Anyway, the company we worked for sucked and his immediate boss treated him like shit but he delat with it professionally. He was taking a 3 day weekend to go to Bermuda with his family and was planning on giving his 2 weeks notice on the Friday before he left. His boss was giving him a hard time on Friday and she left without saying good bye. He went to Bermuda, sent an email to his boss that he wasnt coming back, put his company issued blackberry in a FedEx overnight envelope and mailed it back to the office. When the package came the BB was still on.

i worked at a wholesale greenhouse for a while and had some pretty interesting co-workers. in fact, many of them lived in a sort of halfway house that helps the transition between jail and the real world.

anyway, one of the ex-convicts had put in his two weeks, was extremely polite for the most part, but at the end of his last day he shook the hand of my boss and said "ya know, you're a real bitch." my boss is a man. and then he walked away.

he said it with a straight face, and my boss was pretty pissed, but it gave me and the other guys a good laugh.

For my last job I accidentally offended a brainwashed feminist by saying the word whore in front of her. In my defense she was brainwashed through her university course by Nazis (it was also a useless degree since she was working in a shit factory) and I didn't know that she was a hardcore feminist. My boss called it sexual harassment, even though it was really nothing, she just felt like flipping a bitch over nothing. On my last day there after working at that place for the last year and a half with nothing but compliments from other people he told me that he might not hire me back on in the summer because of this incident. I was nice and all that to their faces, but I wanted to murder everyone at the time. So I left and yeah, I imagine being a place where mostly women work that the rumors have spread and they all think I am a he man woman hater.

I was nice when I quit though. But they weren't nice to me. I guess that's kind of a good story, there is more to it but it's long enough already.

Yeah it was my favorite until I got in shit for it. Apparently she cried about it outside for an hour in a half (since that's how long she was gone for- she ran out of the room). They wanted to take an hour and a half off my paycheck for it and to make it worse I was using whore to describe the way that gypsies dressed. Because I mean they are pretty fucking slutty.

Find your boss. Pee in his butt. If he is actually a girl. Pee in her butt and vagina. Then walk away like boss yelling at all other employees to pay you or you will pee in their butts and or vaginas too.

Then with all that money you get buy lottery tickets. You will need all the luck you can get.
