5'6", 135lbs advanced skier. 30%park 30% pow pow 40%everything else. Looking for durable ski. Im a fan of Armada and Line having skied them before but don't know what i want to do this year. Don't want to spend a fortune. Any advice?
I've actually heard the opposite about the el reys in the park. I still think that the blends are the perfect ski. Tehy are so much fun no matter where you ski them
Look for some used skis on here or tgr, u might be able to find some sick older skis for cheap, look for the old seths, fujas, and maden' ak from k2, older scratch bc, dynastar big trouble, 4 frnt vct, or older arvs. None of those will have rocker, but they will be fun in the park, and rip all over the mountain, and be able to handle pow.
line is super durable and cheap. maybe chronics? cheap enough, will hold on groomers, and you can make any ski work in powder if you are a good enough skier. just go easy on landings.
RMU SKIS.... they NEVER break... i dull edges in one day, crack them in a week, and tear out edges in 1-2 months with every ski i have ever riddin but RMU's...i demod them for a week and the edges weren't even dull! they are decently expensive but you will never need to buy another set of skis ever!
chronics are real nice but what turns me away from them from this years is probably only the graphics... chronics are sick but this years graphics in my opinion are absolutely awful
