Never Forgotten. I remember I was in 6th grade social studies class. By tthe time my father took me out of school and got home they had fallen.


If someone says anything about hte cross and freedom of religion ill freak out.

Wow...moving :/ Such a terrible day. It was so many miles away but on this day, everyone I know as well as I was so flattened. I hope this memorial will do a good job being a place for all those who still mourn the death.

We just had our day of remembrance in Germany yesterday (marks the 50th anniversary of the day the Berlin Wall got built) and I think everyone knows what it's like to stand in front of a memorial of something that you cannot comprehend, be it because you hadn't been born or hadn't really witnessed what happened.

I hope the 9/11 memorial will educate all those future generations about what happened on this sad September 11th 2001, because we simply can not afford to forget.

No matter the political differences - citizens from all over the world will always stand united in grief of this tragic and senseless attack on human beings.

The Freedom tower is gonna be 1776 feet tall, which is sweet. Im from upstate and remember hearing local news saying they had reports of another plan coming for the federal court houses and capital building.
