Here's my take on the world leagues...
SPL is a 2 horse race. It's only entertaining if you're watching the battle for 3rd.
The EPL is a "who's got the most cash to throw around?" battle, but has the highest quality of players.
The Championship is like the SPL quality but everything changes every year, and most times gets a bit stagnant. (however, it was tons of fun as a Toon supporter seeing your club obliterate everyone)
MLS is where geriatrics meet college students (i'm ultra impressed with the increased interest however)
France is entertaining as shit, and is getting better all the time now with Lyon toppled.
Holland is like France, but Ajax still holds the keys.
the Scandanavian leagues are like MLS without the dumb playoff format (although I only say that because it's non-traditional outside of the USA/Canada)
Serie A is diving + jersey shore drama
La Liga is like the SPL with the competition heightened heavily, but with some of that Serie A bullshit.
Belgium doesn't exist.
Russia, Poland, and most of the Eastern European leagues are interesting only because the fans are setting things on fire and the whole thing is 2 clicks from shit hitting the fan.
the Budesliga is like if the EPL and Ligue 1 had a child and made it speak German.
Mexico is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Argentina is England circa 1974, but with more knives.
Portugal is Brazilians before they move to Spain.
Brazil is those who haven't made the cut yet for Portugal.
