Rossi / Dynastar PX12's

I would say it's just a cheaper solution so Dynastar/Rossignol can save some cash produsing them..

Thanks. Appreciate the reply. Think I'm going to ask them to replace them, worried that the sticky snow which clogs up bindings might prevent release.

The 2011/12 axial 120s dont have that bar. They are supposed to be flat.

Did a quick google search, it looks like both the look and the rossi version now have that anti slip plate instead of the sliding piece. I don't think thats necessarily a bad thing, thats the design that most bindings use.

Really appreciate the input. Still a bit unsure, surely static anti friction devices will stick in those slow twisting falls that happen in powder? What would you guys prefer?

If it's plastic, the snow should slide right off it on a release...now if it was say a static metal bar that snow would def stick...I think alot of the companies are steering away from the sliding plastic toe because it's usually the first thing to break....bet they're trying to save on the warranty side if that makes sense....but I'm sure they've put in the r&d to find it unnecessary to slide kinda thing....doubt they'd cut cost over safety knowingly.
