So I was pretty baked one day a few months back, and decided to whip out a canvas and throw something together for my aunt. (Birthday present) Anyways, It took me awhile but it was fun...I may have to do more stuff like this in the future.

For any serious artists out there, does this look aight? haha

How long did this take you? And do you have any pictures of paintings you've done sober?


I've tried countless times drawing when stoned, but get bored really fast and quit. So if you spent like an hour on that... Yeah.

Oh get off it. The kid is right. I like the gnome and the style of the flowers, but the execution on the rest blows. Its hilarious to read comments in this thread vs. applejuice's thread. NS has been on a fucking roll lately, this thread, the Wayne thread and the Skrillex/Zed thread. So many Lulz.

 i wouldnt buy it but thats just cuz im broke and in college. its a pretty sweet piece of work though! keep it up an dont worry about the trolls. i think they just have a thing against gnomes.

the grass and sky take up 80% of the painting and look like they were done in a 2nd grade art class. The rest is very good, but doesnt make up for the fact that the grass and sky are very dull, uninteresting, and not pleasant to look at.

Despite all the hate, I actually really like it. It has a 1960's psychedelic style with aspects of mysticism, kinda a interesting mix. The background is simple, and though it may not be the best, it does not distract from the center, which is the primary focus of the painting. It is actually quite good. Remember, art is all personal taste. Some people may think it looks like shit, but some will find it tasteful and appreciate it for what it is
