Whats the difference between #4 and #6 flex on full tilts? I can't find the answer on the interwebs.. I just know that one Ski boot has a #4 flex tongue and the other has a #6 flex tongue.

the 6 is stiffer than the 4. it's on a scale of 1-10

Yep, like uncle sam said its on a scale from 1-10 where the higher number is stiffer. So if you want a stiffer boot go with the 6 but if you want softer go with the 4

So basically a any number close to 10 would be a big mountain boot for charging lines, and any low number would be a forgiving park boot.

to all of you saying 2, he was just asking what the numbers meant. maybe he thought it was just a number to identify the tongue by color.
