Any good lotto stories?

so me and my 2 friends dropped 15 bucks on scratchers today and won 22 bucks. we then took those winnings and bought more. those tickets won us 55 bucks. in the end each of us won 13 bucks. pretty stoked. anybody else ever score big?

my friend bought 3 monopoly ones in a day. 1st was 150. 2nd was 100. third was 400.

and ive never lost on a monopoly one.

I guess im trying to say buy the fucking monopoly ones

My dad purchased mega millions, and he has documentation in security cameras from speedway that shows him purchasing the ticket, at the time reported winning ticket was sold. Jackpot was 189,000,000. He refuses to get the ticket checked and doesn't give a shit. Fuck me

Or donate to lots of local charities, national and even international charities. With 189 million (after taxes, even half of after taxes) that could change thousands of peoples lives. You could do so much, and if i won the lottery, i would do this, and this is why ill never win and people that win and claim it usually use it to buy stuff for themeselves.

Ehhh, not feelin' it. Ill see. My dad said that it would be fuckin hilarious if we won, he died and went to heaven with a smile on his face laughing at my mom ( they're not divorced so don't take it wrong)

thats what i was thinking...i only ever buy a lottery ticket if its over $100 mil, because if im lucky enough to win once in my life, i want to win enough to survive the rest of my life...very, very, very comfortably

when i was younger and my dad needed to gas up our car at what used to be the only gas station neer my house, we made it a little routine that he would by me a scratch-off ticket and i would get to scratch it and everything. Obviously being littler i ejoyed this and one day i scrached off a ticket that won $100 and i was fuming angry at the time when he didnt let me keep any of the money.

Just found out that someone won $220 million from the kwik trip in Apple Valley, MN that I used to fill up at when I was at my friends house... I really want it to be someone I know so that I can ask for .005% of their winnings.

Family friends of my parents won 36 million (basically tax free in Canada) I wouldnt say that it ruined their life or anything but I doubt that they are happier now.

Not so mich as a win but a fail. I dreamt the lottery numbers one night. In my dream it was like a cheap shit production version of ithe lottery tv show but remembered the numbers. Played the numbers for the next draw, nothing. Then about a month later i looked at the results to see what the jackpot was gonna be like and sure enough it was the all 7 numbers i dreamt. (inb4 i get called out for us lottery bein however many numbers not 7. I live in the uk where you pick 6 numbers and they draw 6 and a bonus number.) i was pretty pissed to say the least.

Yeah I know what your saying, 36 million is an obnoxious amount of cash, and I read somewhere that an old couple won a shit ton of cash and people from all over were calling them and asking for some, they hated it so they donated it all to charities.

My grandma had a lottery ticket that came with a magazine for some reason (this is quite a few years ago and in the UK so I don't know whats going on there). She said she never scratched it because "those things never win". I scratched it and it won $400 haha. She bought me a dope pair of shoes with some of the money.

I won $3 dollars and gave it to the Indian clerk at the gas station to scan it for my money, he said his scanner wasn't working. So I went to another gas station and they told me the money had all ready been taken off. I never got that $3....

I won money on a scratch and win, it was a bunch of money but when I went to claim it at a store I tried to grab it and my hand went right through it like it was a ghost. I woke up in the morning and was a sad panda

If I ever won a large sun of cash, like 50k or more, I'd just put it all into a retirement fund. If I wouldn't do that I would blow through it in a years time.

A couple that lived near a family friend of mine bought the same number for the lottery every week. It was part of the couple's routine that the husband would go out and buy that number.

One week the husband forgot to go out and grab a ticket. Their number won that week. $7.5 million. Ended the marriage.
