so i torrented lightroom 3 maybe 6 months ago or a little less, and had lightroom 2 before that and never had a problem until today. i'm the 'official' photographer/videographer for this kids camp and i've been taking about 600 pictures a day since sunday and 10 minutes or so of video and everything has been fine so far but after this mornings session i connect my D7000 to my computer (macbook) and i can view the thumbnails fine but when i press import it waits a few minutes then says it could not read the files. i started shooting in raw but i would've run out of room on my external so i switched to jpeg a couple days ago and it was working fine except for this morning. this sucks. i'm using a cord from my camera to my comp because i don't have a card reader and i've never had a problem with the cord but something's going on. i've restarted my computer, switched the slots on my memory cards, turned the camera on and off, switched from one USB to another, but nothing has worked.
this is super important and i could really use some suggestions.
