Shaving your head

I am considering cutting my hair very short. Does shaving your head change your hair at all, like make it thicker, darker ect?

I don't plan on leaving it like that, my hairs grows really fast.

yeah, Im that fucking stupid, or perhaps, I thought that buy cutting it at the base it could cause the growing strand to be wider at the top when longer, thus possibly making my hair thicker and darker.

Apparently you dont, because learning about genetics is one of the first things you learn. And genetics control how dark and thick your hair is, not how short you cut it. Honestly its a pretty big myth that it causes hair to change, but if you were actually a biology major you would know its not going to change shit. Try not be so mentally handicapped in future posts.

Thinking his hair might grow longer is actually a very valid concern... if you knew a bit more about biology, you would know that hormonal levels as well as genetics are responsible for hair growth... ever wonder why humans grow extra hair during puberty? Does their DNA change, asshole? Hell no. It would be quite possible for the human body to react to a shaved head by growing thicker hair in order to keep the head warm... although it probably doesn't happen, it's not impossible.

Can It change the look, sheen, and softness of your hair? Yes. I was thinking that buy having every strand of my hair at basically the same length it may make it look differantly.

Yeah dude conditionaer changes your hair short term, but its not giong to get it to start growing naturally any differently you retard. Yeah hair dye changes your hair color but that doesnt mean your hair is now permantly that color.

What about a woman going through pregnancy? Her body certainly changes in a much more drastic way than growing a bit of extra hair. Or how about the way stress accelerates hair loss and/or baldness/gray hairs?

It's doubtful that hair growth is changed in any major way by shaving one's head... but it's not an unreasonable question to ask, and you are simply a douchebag who thinks he can just spout bullshit at anyone asking a valid question. Keep spouting it, I was bored but this is sorta funny.
