An Ogunquit Sunrise (video)

I shot this a couple days ago. It's not skiing, but I figured Media and Arts could possibly appreciate it a bit more than the video section.

I'm not one for self promotion, but I am incredibly pleased with how this turned out. I just wanted to share it. Please don't hate.

looked good Chase! Should have filmed in york though, the nubble would have looked killer in the sunrise.... WAIT on second thought, I think you just gave me some inspiration!

very well done, it looks great, Only thing I can say ( and Im looking for things) maybee tone down the highlights on certain shots since a few of them were clipping. especialy on the rocks. and find a way to smooth out the horizon line that shows up on the sunset at one point

fucking beautiful, ogunquit is a beautiful place to film!

I'm probably going to wake up early tomorrow on my last day of photography camp to shoot a sunrise, thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you all for such kind words, it really means a lot!

Jamie - I am going to shoot another location sometime before heading back to VT. I'm not going to shoot York though. I want to let you do that!

Kalum - This was shot on a Panasonic HMC150

Mat - I brought down the highlights quite a bit in Color to reduce the clipping, but I don't think I did enough in those shots (0:53 and after I assume you're talking about) I think the shots were just overexposed a tad in camera, so that detail is gone anyway... What do you mean by smooth out the horizon?

Joey - Go out and do it! It's a little painful getting up that early, but I assure you the experience and results are worth it!

To everyone else - I encourage you to go out and shoot a sunrise if you never have. It truly is beautiful. If any of you do, shoot me a PM with the links - I'd love to see your work as well!
