Netflix Canada Users

I've got a 1 month free trial. I set up my xbox in my room, and am streaming it off my TV.

What I didn't know when I started the trial, was how much Canadian Netflix actually sucks. Basically no good movies, and a very little selection.


So. To all you Netflix Canada users: What are some good movies it offers? What have you watched on it that was good?

I've already seen:

Requiem for a Dream
SNL: The Best of Will Ferrell: Vol. 1
Antichrist
Funny Games
Being John Malcovich
American Phsyco
Memento
Cyrus
Paranormal Activity 2
American History X
And "Donnie Darko".

theres a couple decent movies about like war and shit, some funny ones. but the only somewhat decent stuff on netflix up here is the tv shows.

I've already seen all the episodes of Trailer Park Boys on regular TV.
I've already watched a lot of Arrested Developement.
I've seen a bit of Top Gear, it doesn't interest me much though.

Haven't seen any of Weeds, and I've never seen schindlers list, but those don't interest me too much atm.


Also. Movies. Not TV shows.
I have TV to watch TV shows.

theres a bunch of stoner movies if your into that kind of thing, super high me, super troopers,how high, harold and kumar.

also some good documentaries, exit through the gift shop, the union etc.

also, top gear and weeds.

IF ITS REALLY SLOW LOADING, THEN LOWER THE QUALITY SETTINGS. IF THAT DOES NOT WORK YOU HAVE SHIT INTERNET. MY INTERNET IS SLOWER THAN SLOW AND NETFLIX LOADS FINE.

Again, I don't know why but im bringing up bandwidth caps. Watch your bandwidth, you'll run right through it with netflix.

i felt like a middle schooler again, but that avatar tv show was playing on a friend's sister's wii a while back while i was shooting pool. i was quickly entranced.

Some good movies are:
EXAM, Primer, Doctor Horrible's Sing-along Blog, Serenity (watch Firefly first), Louis C.K.: Chewed Up (stand up), The Butterfly Effect, The Hebrew Hammer (if you know a bit about Judaism its even funnier), Thin Red Line, Accepted, Secret Window, Taken, A Knights Tale, Cargo, Shaun of the Dead, The Game (its a real movie, and a good one none the less), Catch Me if You Can, Momento, Walk Hard: The Dewy Cox Story, Young Frankenstein, Jarhead, and See No Evil Hear No Evil. Those are some of my favourites

The TV is another huge one for me, I have to recommend:
Firefly, Dollhouse, Top Gear, Community(30 min eps), Better Off Ted (30 min eps), and Breaking Bad. I tried to keep that list a lot shorter.

I recommend trusting the "tastes profile" recommended movies, their recommendations have turned into some of my favourites despite having never heard of them before Netflix suggested them to me.
