So it's that time of the year again. Time to get new park skis. I have narrowed my options down to a few pairs, but I'm looking for more possible options. I am 5'10/5'11 and about 170 lbs. I am an advanced skier. I plan on using these for about 90% park, if there is any new snow whatsoever I will be using my caylors. In the park, I plan on skiing about 85% rails, as that is all my park has, and 15% jumps when I go to different mountains. I would like something light and mid flex, not a noodle and stable but still buttery. I would really like rocker, but may be willing to go without it. Sorry if I am forgetting anything, it's late, I'm tired.
Some of my possible options are
K2 domain 169/179
K2 recoil 174
Armada alpha 1/halo 176
The domain sounds good but I am not sure about the length. With K2 measuring shorter than they actually are, I feel like the 179 would be too long, as it's close to 183, and my pow skis are 181. But I feel like the 169 will be a bit too short, especially next year when I go to college and will hopefully be skiing better parks. At the same time, the 169 would be more like 173, and now I ride 175, which seems like a pretty good size.
Any more options or views on which of the above I should choose? I really like the K2 options but I want to know about which size would be best.
Thanks and +k for good responses
