Basically a lighter, less stiff version of the walls. Usually geeared towars the entry level park skier. Two of my friends younger brothers ski on them and they seem to beat them up pretty good. Durable, some top sheet chips but other than that they are a decent ski for a budget.
Stickerman has it pretty spot on, symmetrical in flex and shape, durable but geared towards the beginner park rider or anyone on a tight budget. Not huge pop but smooth and reliable and like all Volkl skis it has pretty solid edge hold.
Think about this: basicly any pro sponsored by volkl (liam downey, russ henshaw, ahmet dadali, jf houle and many others) all ride the walls rather than the ledges. I have walls and love em. Why? Stiff beneath the boot so they dont wobble, soft tips for super buttery presses, wide enough to hold up in pow wow, perfectly semetrical and super durable. Go walls, u'll never go back to ur old skis
