Mini Vacation

About 7 friends and I are trying to plan a little vacation within new england. Were trying to go somewere between the 18th and 22nd of August. Places that we've had in mind are the cape and the islands, but most of those are all booked for when we want to go. And most places that i find in Nh arnt really near anything according to google maps. So do you guys have any ideas were to go? An ideal spot would be near a somewaht populated town, a lake or a beach, and also a area to find kids our own age ( 18-21) so lets hear some suggestions - thanks

go like camping near winipesauke? (sp?) in NH theres a shit ton to do there with lots of shops and like a few boardwalks. a massive lake with plenty of bridges and rope swings. and lots of teens and college kids

the cape is so far overrated. I guess if you like sitting in 3-4 hour traffic you should go.
