Springfield area things to do.

So I want to meet a few friends who I haven't seen in a while and do something fun for the day. Its myself, a girl, and another couple who are both our friends. I was thinking of something outdoors like hiking a mountain or cliff jumping. Something thats a good time in the summer/early fall.

So NS locals, do you know of any sweet spots or public fun things to do?
