today at work we were continuing to build an expantion to one of our snowmaking ponds. i was driving a big off road dump truck, Cat 725a

anyways, the dirt we were taking out of the new pond area was being dumped over the dyke of the old pond, omg dyke. so there was a tree sticking up though the new, expanded dyke. it was in the way for building outward like planned. i was told to get a chainsaw and cut it down. w/e nbd right? well i was like whatever and was going to. but then i was like "yo imma just knock it down with the truck" fuckin sweet right?

so i had a full load of dirt in the truck and i was backing up to the edge and i backed into the tree. went to lift the dump box and the whole truck tipped.

i almost shit a brick.

on the way tipping over, the truck hit the tree and shattered it. not just broke it off, fucking shattered into like 9 (yeah 9) pieces. then the dirt from the truck buried the tree and it was done except my truck was like this still

i put on all three differential locks and drove away and it stood back up again.

the best part is that everyone saw and i looked like a boss.

Basically anytime I come into a jump too fast, think I'm going to die, then ride it... fuck yeah! Or on a pow day when you boost off a cliff, don't plan on landing, then you do or when you go tearing ass through the trees and think you're done for because you took the wrong line but ride it out... fuck yeah.

OP, I'm honestly so jealous of you. Driving heavy machinery seems like so much fun.

when i was like 8 i was boosting into this really steep jump into the trees, and going up one of my skis got caught, ejected, and sent me into a frontflip. stomped it on one ski.

First cork

Sliding a jeep on asphalt 90 then 180 back the other way and then 270 back the way I came to end up facing the wrong way, parked in the bike lane on like the biggest street in my town because I almost ran into some ass hole running a red light. My friend and I looked at each other, high fived and then drove off like a BAUSS

Both of these happened within days a couple weeks ago:

Cracked the heelpiece on one of my bindings and had issues with it jiggling around and not keeping my foot in. Dropped into a 40 footer in the park and lost the ski on takeoff. Saw it fly away out of the corner of my eye, thought "dammit..." stomped the cork 3 deep in the landing and stopped myself. No big deal. Couple days before, I got all psyched and perfectly stomped a backie first try. Couple days after that, the runout from Timberline public park was getting a bit bare. Went down the trail thinking there was still as much snow. Realized there wasn't pretty quickly. Fortunately for me, someone had put a wooden plank down on the ~20ft section of bare ground. I saw that, hopped on and 50-50ed it perfectly. Fuck yeah!

well theres this one kid at my school who is like "Mister MHS" (matoaca high school) and is basically good at everything, BUT he is also a cocky douchebag. I had class with him, and while we had work time he was having a (loud) conversation about how he could take anybody in the whole class easily. My history teacher, being the boss he is, replied with "Now I'm not encouraging anything at all, but im positive Reese could kick your ass". amd literally just last week that guy was in my gym, and I lifted 20 pounds more on EVERYTHING he did. FUCK YEA

one time my friends and I made a jump in the backcountry. I was bombing hella fast and the tip of my ski caught a couple feet from the takeoff. It ended up spinning around so I was riding switch and then sent me off the jump. The momentum made me do a sick switch 3 and I stomped it. I was fuck yeahing all over the place

I got a hj from a so called "lesbian" during school. My first double backflips off a swing. When I found 2 days ago that I can somewhat control how drunk I seem. My backflip to dead flat on an inflatable water slide( I have pics) which happened 24 hrs ago at my graduation party. Fuck yeah!!! I also super-fedded a bugatti veyron on top gear, afterbanged, then rode out at 253 mph, it just didn't make the show cuz the stig was embarresed. Fuck yeah?

I was off roading my xterra and was driving over some dirt mounds, the guy in front of me stopped, so i had to stop. The dirt under my right rear tire gave away and the truck dropped 2 feet and caused the front left tire to be off the ground, and the truck on the verge of tipping over. Like legit about to tip. Locked the diff and came right out of the ditch.

Was riding pipe all day and was boosting 10 feet out, came up the wall caught my ski in a rut and bent my knee and did my first 540.

FIrst time I got laid, stoned, and drunk, in the same night.

The first time I whipped my bike completely backwards.

Unloaded 24 tonnes of cabbage off of 4 tractor wagons with a forklift in 15 minutes, and loaded the wagons back up and hauled the 4 wagons, as long as 2 school buses, back to the field. Champ of the road.

landing my first lincoln (first inverted trick on skis).
sacking up and lincoln looping a 50ft kicker after only ever having landed 2 on a 15ft kicker, even if i did overrotate and stack.
while learning to drive when i turned a corner while braking with my right foot, clutch with the leftfoot, changing gear with the left hand and turning the steering wheel with the right hand, i was silently like fuck yeah cos my dad was pissed at me.
after hiking up and putting first tracks down the back wall of this gully and riding some of the sweetest pow ive rode when the rest of the mountain was icy and windblown.

again today with the trucks


i got "stuck" in about 3 feet of soupy mud. dumped my load and the guy running the excavator started to come over to push me out and then i floored it and worked the wheel back and forth and drove out like a boss. no diff lock either. im the king of dump trucks

Thanks for reminding me man. Par five about 600 yards. Fucked my drive up on the right side. Hit a hybrid out trying to be about 130 out for my third shot clipped a tree on the right side of the fairway so i was knocked down to like a 175 yarder up hill. All pissed off I take out my six iron and hit a shot that looks nice but I cant see exactly where it is because the green is above me. I walk up to the green and dont see any ball on the green so I'm all pissed off and go look around in the deep rough behind the green. Not being able to find it I go back to the green and say to my friend "I'm looking in the hole. If there is a nike 2 I'm shitting my pants." I look in the hole see my ball take it out and throw it into the air saying YEAHHHH MOTHERFUCKER way louder than you should on a golf course. It was pretty fucking tight.

Then there was the classic first backie. Fist pump for days.

I was longboarding, bombing this pretty big hill. I might have hit 20 mph or so, which was pretty fast for that hill. There was a school bus behind me so I got into my tuck but I was still not fast enough. So I am about to change lanes and then I see a Black Chevy SUV going about 35 mph in the other lane. so I went into the very middle of the road, did quite possibly the best tuck I've ever done, kept my speed then cut back into my original lane, missing the SUV's mirror by a few inches (literally) then cut back around the SUV, and rode away, unharmed.

I have one every day. I drift our toro on this gravel driveway every day. Its so much fun and so easy. You can drift for probably 40 feet.

first of me and my dad have a thing called showing our DNA. this is done by carving and meeting in the middle making a DNA looking line. (double helix). Me and my dad who is on his last years did a run from the top to the bottom of whistler down dave murray poping of ledges and looking bad ass. sure its not a triple but for my dad to go down the hill with me like he used to back in his racing days took my breath away.



Also losing my v card, first backflip flat, meeting my gf.

The first time I ever flew a plane by myself. I had been training for awhile, then one day while out doing touch-n-go's my instructor was like, stop the plane, I stop, he goes I'm hoping out, you can do like 6 by yourself. (I was already properly endorsed and I knew this was going to happen, just wasn't sure when). After he jumped out (we were on the ground parked) I go to take off and start dancing in the cockpit. I literally went fuck yeah! Holy Shit! I was literally high on life. One of the greatest feelings ever. I then listened to this song afterwards!

Hitting a rail, some little kid snaked me and I was going way too fast so i hit the rail with him. He falls down about halfway through this 25ft rail and I didn't have time to think. So I hop as high as I can over his head, which is resting on the rail, and bring my legs back as far as I can, it felt like a good idea at the time. so I air over this kid and land perfectly back on the rail, but since I brought my legs back I accidentally nose tapped him in the head!!!!!!!! Everybody saw it and was like STEEEEEEEEEZ MAN. Oh yeah and I landed switch coming out of the rail and afterbanged so hard twall would get a boner. Fuck yeah
