Okay I am about 5'9" and i'm a junior in high school. I weigh only about 118 so that's pretty light for someone of my height. What is the best way to put on weight? Best food, workouts, etc. thanks i need to gain weight for baseball and soccer

Anyway, eat as much as possible. Even without lifting seriously you will gain weight. If you do lift, eat even more.
how much weight do you plan on gaining? you're obviously still growing and it's perfectly natural to be that size and weight at that time in life. It can also be unhealthy to put on significant weight too. I'd say just work out and naturally increase your body mass. You'll bulk out as you get older as a body generally grows up before out to its natural size
Peanut butter honestly helps a lot. When I was a freshman in high school I was 5'8" 110 lbs. When I graduated I was 5'10" 150 lbs. I ate a pb&j sandwich every night before I went to bed. I'm still really skinny, but it definitely helped.
never tried this but ive heard it works well. if you dont want to do this just add an extra meal or two or more snacks to your day and as for at the gym, focus on compound exercises. as much as any guy wants to do bicep curls, the way your gonna gain weight is by doing squats, deadlifts, bench press, pullups, dips etc.

I gave up on putting on weight, I eat and left weights everyday, I've notice that my strength increase, I can see some definition but nothing serious. It really does just take time to get big, sadly that's all of us lanky peoples dream...
