TOMs shoes, anyone have them?

So I saw a guy wearing a pair yesterday and they seemed sweet. I am not sure if I can pull them off since I am a bigger guy and not much of a hipster I guess, but I still like them overall. Are they comfortable?

I am thinking about surprising the wifey with one of these maybe

they're the comfiest shoes ever, i've had some for three years and i love them, they dont last long though, after one summer they're good for garbage
