The fact that our credit rating was downgraded was a GOOD thing, china can't artificially keep the Yuan's value down forever and Japan (honda) is already moving production out of trading with china to other places. With our credit rating down, our money can stop being so artificially high value and we will finally be able to export more due to it being cheaper for other countries to import from us. This will stimulate a bit more production in the US but I do agree that we do not have enough incentives to keep production local and the government needs to address this.
Also our unemployment is around the european average at this point. You euros have great benefits for the unemployed so it hovers around 9% over there on average, I think we are at 11% right now but i'm not sure. We usually have 4% so I mean it's bad for us but by your standards it's pretty normal. Sucka my big 'murkan bawls
