Marker The Squire Ski Bindings Are They Durable?

I am trying to help my friend find a nice bindings and these were one of the favorites the only thing we were questioning was the durability because they are so light they are mainly plastic are they a good binding will they hold up are they durable when put through some abuse?

Most marker bindings have a reputation of begin durable, I have never ridden them before though.

No, they have awful durability I broke both slide plates in the short time I had them. To boot I was injured for 3 months so didn't even have as many days as I usually would.

NO! They are a cheaper, lightweight, plastic binding that, in my opinion has no purpose on any park ski. WAY too much plastic to be able to hold up to anything other than the absolute most beginner park skier who spends more time outside the park than in, and weighs under 100 lbs.

any binding with a din range to 11 isn't going to stand up to the punishment that kids on here want. spend the extra and get griffons or jesters.
