Should I remount my AR7s center?

So I have Ar7s that I had mounted at -2.5 (factory recommendation). Is it worth it to have them remounted at center if I ski completely park?

It depends on weather you like how they are now. If you like them dont bother switching. If you think you have too much nose and not enough tail then yeah centered would be better. If your a tech just remount them see if you like them, if you dont move them back.

Thanks for the help. I haven't really noticed any problem, but I plan on stepping up my skiing a lot more this year. it does kinda look like i have too much tip.

I always prefer armadas centered. I had the Thalls last season and I had them -2.5 they were good, but I thought Id see how center was and they were much more fun. I have had all my armadas centered.

Don't mean to threadjack, but I was thinking about remounting my ARVs center as I use them only for park now. Is it really that bad to mount skis twice and stuff? Everybody at shops acts like its a death sentence or something...

So long as the old holes are filled and the new ones are not too close to the old ones, it does not affect the ski at all. People will say after about 3 times it will affect the ski, and this may well be true. In my experience I have skied skis with 5-6 remounts and they feel no different and seem to hold up as long as any park ski can. I would not personally go more then about 3 remounts.

i should be fine, they've been drilled only once, and they're being move 2.5 cm up, so the holes shouldn't be too close i assume. so you think the tech will argue with me about center mounting a non symmetrical ski?

Yeah you will be fin e moving your bindings as they haveonly done once. The fact its not symectrical does not matter. Your not using the skis to carve, if you were then the advice of them not being as good would be relevent. However for park center just weights the skis better and makes them feel more balanced, so even though teh carving may be slightly worse the actually feel of the ski overall will inprove.

They r acting like that probably because the arv doesn't ski that well centered

it won't ski as well for just carving, but it would be better for park

It won't be nearly as stable landing big jumps forward, or be as stable at speed on run ins to jumps
