Fuck fuck fuck fuck! T2i problem!

So I have a problem with my t2i and I was wondering if you guys could help me out a little.
First off, I got it in early December of 2010, and it has never really had any problems.
I think I have a broken shutter, or at least something to do with my shutter. Basically when I turn on my camera only the little green display inside the viewfinder shows up, the flash pops up but doesn't operate, and the orange light that turns on before you take a picture, turns on. But that is it, no LCD, nothing. It wont focus, take a picture, and the shutter doesnt close when I turn off the camera.
I am just really lost as I am relatively new to DSLRs.
Any help/advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James.

where'd you buy it? if it was used, you might be screwed, but best buy, canon, and many other places would fix/replace it for free

unless you paid for best buys ridiculously overpriced protection plan, dont bank on them doing anything to help. I know this from working there.

well, everything looks good guys! I just brought it to best buy, and I didn't have the store warranty, but they did send it to canon for repair/replacement!
