Canon t3 vs t3i?

Are there any differences between them other than the swivel screen ont the t3i? do they take the same photos/videos?

don't even think about the t3 unless you are just starting out and dont plan on progressing much in the future. T3i is loads better, and if you can find a 60d for only a little more, go with that.

I was thinking about picking up the t3 just because its a bit cheaper and i dont have to travel 5 hours to buy it...

internet? and you can get a t2i for a little more than the t3, and its loads better. also, order online and it will be much cheaper

you save some money for basically the same thing, but I wouldnt say its better by any means.

they are very simililar cameras, but wireless flash, flip screen, bigger size (and better grip), and better audio without ML are all huge pluses in my book. other than that, yes they are pretty much the same

you are fucking crazy !!!!!! i have a t3i and no way i would buy a t2i. the flip screen is extremely usefull!!!!!!! and i put magic lantern on my t3i so yes T3i is better then the T2i !!!!!

Yeah I use the 60d, and the flip screen is a huge perk from the schools 7D i was using before i bought my own. Thats probably why I would buy the t3i over the t2i if it had to be between t hose two.
