Skiing has already had "a team shootout" in Finland.

Red Bull Jibs & Clips back in 2008. The website is unfortunately down, but it was a sick event. Same concept except there was only a three day window until the final event instead of a week.

Bring it back.

JOSS and the Orage Masters seem to be other views of the team shoot out idea.

If anything, I'd rather see more team movies in skiing. Imagine the whole team of Armada or Atomic in one movie.

i totally agree, like all the worlds best skiers should form teams of say 5 and throw down against each other every weekend, it could be like a football, where theres trading too. and all pros are required to compete =)

It's JOSS but by Sponsors and not Countries -
CONTEST BREAKDOWN: The contest goes down in a one-week window. Each team consists of five riders (including one girl). If the team doesn’t include a female, they can only have four riders. Rider substitutions can only be made if a team member is injured. One photographer is assigned to shoot each team for the event. Each team can use a maximum of two filmers to shoot video. Each team must create a three- to five-minute final video and submit a gallery of six photos for judging. Judging is broken into the event’s two main components: photos and video. The winning team earns the September cover.

This but without girls. I don't want to sound sexist, but JOSS edits are the sickest things ever, and the athletes tend to really throw down in them in order to win. These edits have a time limit, and no filmer/editor will put clips of some ungrabbed 5s in over some amazing urban shots or creative tricks on jumps.

a couple of the shots in the technine video were in eye trip. and one of them wasnt even like a sick rail so it looked like they were jsut copying level 1

these are definitely sick, but i d like to see full length team videos that compete with level 1 and poorboyz. skateboarding has been doing it forever, snowboarding has been doing it forever, and skiing even did it back in the day with session 1242. a line team video would be sick.....

Sure, but it'd be way cooler now that they have Fahre, Sage, Jossi, Bene Mayer, Chug, Riddle.

A Surface or Line or K2 team movie would be sick too.

But seriously. Bring back the BACK 9.

wrong. There was one setup that made me scared to watch in the T9 edit, the first rail he got fucked on, other then that it was cool but not nuts. Network had so many huge rails. I would say Stept is Technine of skiing and I am hoping their new movie proves that even more.
