I hear both of these skis are sick for the price, so I decided I wanted to pick one up. I'm 6ft 215 lbs and like a stiff ski. I live in the Midwest but go out west twice a year. I don't know if I want the 122 waist or the 112. I skied the JJs and those are 115 and I thought those were the perfect width.
+k for help.
Also if anyone has another other suggestions on a cheap powder ski, I'm all for it.

I'd probably go for the One Life. They have a little more versatility so you can still use them in the Midwest. Be careful though. They ski REALLY short. Go for the 189. No one should ski the 179 unless it's for park or you're a midget.

i ride the new life for just about anything, even a little bit of park and i love them. having the ski be symmetrical really helps for landing switch in pow and the stiffness makes them charge like no other. just my 2 cents

I ride the New Life too. It's such an awesome ski. But OP are you going to use the ski in the midwest or is it just a trip ski?
