Young and gifted, my tongues prolific
In the beach bungalow is how I brung in Christmas
For the streets I'm going flow from the hungriest districts
Swiss kicks crisp when I come to them picnics
Play slow, paper chase stack and lay low
I've like this song since 11th grade of highschool. I am now a senior in college. absolutely fantastic probably my favorite rapper although his new stuff isn't too good.
you're too off balance when you finish your swing. if you're falling all around you're swinging too hard. doesn't matter with BP but full speed pitches you'll start falling all over the place.
man, this makes me miss batting practices. nice swing for sure you're stepping into it and driving through the ball. Just make sure not to be lazy and follow through with both hands a little longer. 350's pretty deep, good work mang
great swing, just watch your footwork. keep your front foot in there, don't set it down behind where it was like i could see you were doing in the angle from behind the plate. yeah sure it's good if you want to pull pitches and bomb them in BP, but any decent hitter needs to be able to push the ball to opposite field and during a game that will be nearly impossible to put your bat on that low and out pitch if you're stepping out.
just something to be careful of. you don't want to take an outside pitch and swing around it to put it into left. it'll go much further if you wait on it, drag your hands through the zone and poke it to right.
Tee ball field home run derby or what? Cuz there were a lot of them that were most definitely not homers. Slash yeah you have nice bat speed and a decent swing but i mean you are every where, all over the fcking batters box. and you lost footing and stepped over te plate a lot. Idk man it wouldve been dope to have 2 cameras so we can see all the "home runs"
also start with a lower stance in general, bend the knees, and lean your shoulders forward. you start your stance too high, so you struggle to get in a proper stance as the ball is being delivered, resulting in unneeded movements, lowering of the head etc. which makes the ball harder to see and also results in pop ups because of dropping too much.
wow kids like to hate. you couldn't see where they landed but i bet some of them were home runs. Solid contact on all of them. I'd like to see someone from this thread hit it further.
and i used it for BP comp bats are banned so i have a bbcor nike bat like you see in the last couple swings.... and for highschool they were banned to so i dont use comp bats in games
i have bat speed alot of it because im not a muscular kid and i hit many home runs over the season but in the game my swing is more compact and short i usually hit more line drives its just in BP its easier to hit the long ball
about 75% of those looked like pop ups and I didn't see one hard hit ball to right. any decent high school hitter can rip homeruns to left in bp. in that video I watched you try to pull outside pitches and pop them up. sit back a little longer and drive it to right. not trying to hate but from a scout's perspective your video is not impressive at all, honestly.
honestly if you have a different swing during batting practice and games then you're doing something wrong. batting practice is how you prepare for games, not for fun. if you swing to hit long pop ups (hard hit, but pop ups nevertheless) during batting practice often, it will be hard to change your swing back to where it needs to be to hit line drives.
