Me and a few buddies (4-5) are planning on moving to tahoe next spring for a year or two and were starting to think about where we want to live. Dont really know much about the area so any info would be great. We want to be close to the shore and I've heard that kings beach and tahoe city are nice places along the north shore (looking to get a 3/4 bedroom house for around $2000/mo). Any other places we should start looking at? What are some pros/cons about each end of the shore? How are the job prospects at either end/ cost of living? Most importantly, how does the skiing compare?
