Can you dye a goggle strap?

Do i just use the same technique as dyeing the frames and riggers?

i have dyed a crowbar strap, and it was unaffected

Bleach can ruin the elastic. I think dye doesn't do anything bad

dye does nothing to the elastic, i've dyed countless straps
