So i just got a premium deathtrap about a month ago, and have already replaced the headset, and bottom bracket. I can feel the back wheel going out. Some fits are going on sale, and i don't now if i can sell my deathtrap in time. should i just go for it, or keep dumping money into the premium?
Whether you buy it is up to you, but fit bikes are legit. And if you just got the premium and it's already doing shitty, why don't you ask about the warranty, never hurts to ask and you might have gotten the odd one out.
Buy the FIT. What I found out is, If you buy the nice shit now, later on you wont have to replace it. I made a custom Fly Tierra 2 years ago and haven't had to replace one part on it.
bmx needs to stop making up their own names for tricks that. the cash roll is a misty 7. even a flair is basicly a cork 5 or mctwist. bmx needs to get its bitch ass in line. i like daniel dhers because he calls it a cork 7, and not some stupid bmx name like backflip 360... just watched this alli show about banashovits. its just stupid how many new names they come up with to be special
OP, things like wheels on stock completes will generally shit the bed pretty quick, so you can either upgrade to a a better complete and work from there, or start upgrading parts like wheels, headset, and bb on the Premium now, which will probably save you money.
From what I've read, the Deathtrap frame is a solid frame worth building up. If you like how it feels (geometry and all that jazz) I would keep replacing parts as they go instead of buying another complete. Some completes are better than others, but unless you are spending upwards of $1000 (cdn) then there are going to be cheaper parts that are going to fall apart faster than others. Hope that helps.
Yeah dude I would just buy a new wheel, stock ones are usually shitty and heavy, you're better off buying quality parts every once in a while then having two complete bikes with all stock parts
Are the repair cheaper than a new bike? Make a list that needs to be changed.
Can you find a buyer? go for younger kids they dont know what a good and shitty bike feel like
stock parts blow just replace the parts with better ones, plus the bearings are probs unsealed on ur wheels thats why they breaking so fast. But Im not sure I havent had any expirience with that brand so Im not sure. Fit is legit tho. If you replace dont buy EASTERN or NITROS.
