I'm looking for a new pair of skis. I am 14 years old, 5'2 and growing, and 95-100 lbs. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I was interested in a new pair of park skis. If I could still fit into some kind of kids skis that would be great because they are a lot cheaper.
If you prefer stiffer skis I would stay away from the A-bang. While at your size you certainly do fit into some junior boards but your options that include a stiffer flex are going to typically be wider all mtn/pow type skis. The one that I can think of is the Volkl Gotama Jr, it comes in a 158 which might seem long but it is full rocker but it is a very low and gradual rocker so it still should be decent in the park. After that you start talking adult skis pretty quick, the Armada El Rey could be a good choice in at 157cm at $399, my cousin has ten pounds on you and maybe two inches and that what he is on, or the Nordica Double Six in a 156cm it's mid stiff and $399, or the Volkl Alley in a 158 cm is a pretty good ski for $299.
