Why the fuck don't they make jeans in a solid color anymore? They always have to make them look worn out and discolored on the knees like some guy wore them while he was blowing clay aiken. And then there is the problem where every brand has to have a different sizing so I fit in a 30 for some then 40 for others. Come on get your shit together!!!

I love pants. Jeans, cords, khaki all of them and i don't own one pair of like vintage or worn out shit like you mention. I think you're looking in the wrong places or not hard enough.

I actually agree with this. I HATE pre-faded jeans, but the worst are the ones that already have some tears in the thighs. Like really, it does t even look real. Like who the fuck manages to tear a hole in theirs thighs. What's wrong with just plain dark wash jeans?

Yeah it's all where you look. You find bad ones in like stores like abercrombie, ae, PAC sun. You gotta go to a place like nordstrom's or Macy's for good jeans

Yup. This is where I buy all my jeans. I usually rock the Citizens of Humanity or 7 for all Mankind jeans and they come in a pretty standard dark wash.

I have a pair that are massively predistressed and retailed over a thou. 300ish is actually not a huge markup, most of the stuff selfedge sells is quite reasonable for what it is substantively. Brands like Dior charge what they do in large part to maintain the cachet of the brand. McQueen is sort of like buying art. But if you want good jeans for in the 100s get naked and famous.

That might be fine and dandy for ricky martin, but not ME!

And i only spend that much because i would rather get new skis, or be able to come out of college with less debt. There is no way I could afford to spend over 500 on jeans every 2 or 3 years let alone 1000

I am aware khaki is a color. Chino is a style of pant that isn't just khaki. the way i used Khakis just lump together all of those chinos, docker style slacks, dress slacks, or just normal khaki pants. SO yeah khakis. which after typing it so many times made me realize what a fucking weird word khaki is... khaki. kh. aki?

i got a pair of levi's 511 japanese raw denim and they took at least 6 months to wear in nicely. but still, put the 511s to rest. they're a cheap motel. no ball room.

It's pretty much needed, i'll wear a pair for like a super long time without washing them. then i go fail at skateboarding so i have to wash them, that's when they're creased to shit.

oh and the buttons come off too.

some of them are pre-faded but topman do a solid set of block colour jeans, they're are super nice i have had a pair skinny jeans from there for like 9 months and they are yet to fade
