Anyone Know how to build a powered pulley

In many skii movies u see and urban setting and they take big air and the simple banshee bungie isnt ennough. They turn to a engine driven winch that has alot of recoil speed. I want one but dont know where or how to build one. i have a 190cc 6hp lawnmower engine for it. any one have anything to comment please do.

Yeah but winches have allot of strength not speed.

lol, pros use winches for urban pull ins very often, although i'm not too familiar with how to make one.

no.. a regular winch goes really really slow, and has a lot of torque.

Look up homemade wake winches, you should find some plans.

Ive looked into building winches for a while now for mostly wakeskating purposes. Here's a link to a pretty awesome step by step manual of how to build one on your own. It even includes a parts list for everything you'll need. Your 6hp motor should be enough.

wakeboarders use them to gain speed in a short difference. Skiers just use them. But you can find them on certain wakesites.

Thanks so so much. The wake ski winch looks like it might do the trick. Put some old skis on it for better transport. Any more comments are Very Welcome

the schrab brothers are legendary!

theres also a vid of one of the summer camps (coc i think?) where they installed a motordriven handle on a rail for a tow-in for the big-airbag at the bottom of the hill, it looked uber sick !
