a friend of mine has the majesty superior and says it's a real all mountain beast!
i had a chance to ski on them during the zinal freeride comp.
first thing i noticed was the particularly weird shape and skinnier waist (i was there on my EP pros)
i skied them on a particularly misty/deep day
in the noon i skied my ep pros and tomahawked a couple of times when i failed to distinguish small dips in the terrain due to bad visibility, and my epps would just fold double and send me tomahawking....
even tough the superiors were skinnier and had less rocker, they performed better in the crud and their stiffer design provided more support on back/frontseat positions like you might encounter when hitting a bump you didn't see or landing backseat on cliffdrops
the tapered tips weren't hooky at all (thats why they're tapered) and the ski handled ok on groomers.
in the deep they did float but only once you got some speed, i didn't experience them to be as agile as my epps, perhaps due to the lower floatation at low speeds when skiing through the woods or sketchy terrain, however at higher speeds and variable snow i found that this ski really excelled above my epps :)
there were numerous occasions where i felt like i needed to slow down my skiing on my epps due to variable snow/terrain (risking them to start shattering/wash out or fold double and tomahawk), while i felt pretty confident on the superiors to push them as hard as i dared to go....
hope this helps a bit, i only skied them for a couple of hours....
