fucking hate bysicalists, they always try and say share the road with them but they think they fucking own the road. they won't stay in a bike lane, and if they are they hug the line so you have to slow down and swerve, and if there isn't a bike lane they will just drive right out in the middle of the god damn road, a good example of this is loveland pass.

for example yesterday i was driving home after a nice chik fil-a meal and it was rush hour traffic on parker road, which if you ar win that part of colorado, you know that road is pretty crazy a that time, and around the 470 are there are these two bikers who i presume to be a man and wife driving down the middle of the second lane from the right. NOT in a bike lane, NOT hugging the side of the road, but right in the fucking middle of the second lane on a four lane road. they were making people swerve around them like crazy, luckily i was in the far left lane because i am a badass and pass everyone. < that is a joke for you psycho basterds who can't tell a joke.


And this brings me to the reason i am making this thread,

today is colorado day so i was taking advantage of my free state park access, and went to go to the cherry creek shooting range, on my way out i decided to drive by the lake and see if any boats were out there, there weren't just some gay guy on a jet ski in a pink bathing suit. but as i was leaving i was stopped at an intersection of the park where there is a 4 way stop sign, right where you enter. and this old fart on a bike doesn't stop and i am already starting to proceed through the intersection, he wasn't going fast so i said to him " hey, you know you are supposed to stop at those too" and he proceeds to tell me to get fucked, and i screen fuck me, no fuck you and turn to follow his ass, and a nice cursing match proceeded, needless to say i said many bad things with my dad sitting right next to me in the car.


sparknotes: bikers say share the road, but they think they fucking own that shit.

shit drives me crazy. the fact that they go so slow creates not only a hazard for themselves but everyone else on the road who has to deal with them. if a car was going that slow it would probably get pulled over (out of curiosity on the cop's part and because it creates a safety hazard) so i don't see why bikes are able to do it. it's fine if they're on the shoulder/in the bike lane, but riding right in the middle of the lane is selfish and does nothing but create danger.

some people are respectful bikers, but a lot of the time I see groups of bikers riding not single-file and taking up as much of the road as possible, and not moving over when a car is behind and can't pass. continuous honking like an asshole usually works.

There are good cyclists and there are bad cyclists, just like how there are good and bad drivers. Please try not to lump all of us cyclists into one category. I am sure it would be equally frustrating for you if I wrote a long winded post about how all drivers are stupid inconsiderate ass hats. Just try to remember that there are good and bad cyclists, we are not all the same. Thank you for your time and effort.

what gets me is the road bikers who wear te spandex and have the couple thousand dollar bikes and whatnot that just ride stupidly around cars. going slow in a lane, blocking traffic, making illegal turns. it's especially bullshit while trying to skate around new york, they hate us.

again, not all road bikers do this. I find that it is the posers who don't really know what they are doing who do this stuff because they think its cool and want to be part of the cool biker club or something. These people just don't get it.

Haha I am totally with you on this one. When bikers are riding 2 or even 3 a breast and think that they have a sense of entitlement to not get over, I just cruise right up on their asses until they move over. It's the best way and it pisses people off especially in Boulder, which is the best!

bitch please, any cyclist that's not a moron holds as close to the curb as he can, and it still doesn't stop people fortunate enough to be able to afford cars to fly within a foot of us at 80km/h because we can't keep the same cruising speed with our fucking legs.

wow there are a lot of ignorant fuckheads here.  sure there are a few cyclists who obviously take up more space than needed, but there are also way more drivers who disregard the lives of cyclists.  Show some respect for those choosing a healthy lifestyle that's benefiting the whole planet.  if you complain about being slowed down for 5 seconds of your life when it's not a safe place to pass a cyclist you probably don't deserve the privileged to drive. It can be damn dangerous to bike sometimes and dicks like almost everyone in this thread only make it worse.

example of dickhead driver from a few days ago:

(parked car blocking lane, move into other lane)
car behind me: get off the road you fucker
me: -middle finger-
car behind: you fucking piece of shit I'll fucking curb stomp you (actually yelled that)

I'm glad a few people came in here to defend cyclists. Like it's been said there are idiot bikers everywhere that give us a bad name and they piss me off when I'm driving too haha but seriously it is A LOT worse being the biker. I've been hit by a car when I was cycling (car's fault) and I had to go to the hospital and it wrecked my bike. Really puts the slight inconveniences of bikers into perspective for me

thats not trolling i hate that shit.

if anyone drives in utah they know what its like driving up big cottonwood and the stupid bikers. i dont mind them if they are doing their own thing, but when they start riding tandum where its obvious they shouldnt and they still do. i have got in many verbal fights with bikers and almost an actual fight.

As someone who rides a bike for transportation i say fuck any asshole in a car that thinks they have more a a right to be there then me (all of you in this thread basically, OP especially sounds like a real douchebag) People that use bikes/their own muscle power for transportation deserve more respect than some lazy ass teenager in an air conditioned car driving to fucking mcdonalds imo.


But fuck cyclists that are on the road to exercise and in the way of cars. They have no right to be in peoples way with their lame spandex and their pack of like ten other douchebags playing with eachothers dicks in the middle of the road. Theyre not even going anywhere.

ok just going to clear up a few things.

1. it was chik fil-a not mcdonalds, i like my fast-food to be made with real chicken.

2. i don't have a problem with bikes if they are where they are supposed to be, as i said the guy today really pissed me off because he didn't stop at the stop sign, and told me to "get fucked". if there were to be an accident he would have been in the wrong, but i am the asshole.

you dont have to stop at a stopsign on a fucking bike (edit: you do where you live but i dont care) its usually pointless, you fail to take into account that after the old man on the bike stops he has to use his own strength to get back up to the same speed again. I know its not that big of a deal but compared to pressing a gas pedal its like running a mile

This. When I used to ride my bike everywhere before I had my license it was fucking great because I would do whatever the fuck I wanted- hop medians, run stop signs and lights (when clear), and I was in shape.

This. I understand that not all bikers are bad blah blah I bike on the road sometimes too but it's absolutel ridiculous when people bike 3 abreast on a curvy road with many blind spots. Bikers like that endanger everyone on the road. Also when people bike on the road when there is a bike path.

I can't wait for my bike ride tomorrow where I'll piss off loads of people like OP who are probably 16 and just got their license, and therefore think they own the road. I try to keep to the side of the road, but fuck you if you think I'm gonna ride in the fucking dirt shoulder to let some idiot driver like you pass me more easily. I have every right to be in the road as a cyclist as you do as a teenage driver with your windows down blaring your shitty music. How's that for a generalization? I hate ignorant fucks like you. Are you really in that much of a hurry that you can't wait for 2 extra minutes to pass a cyclist who may be in your way? Maybe you should get off your lazy ass and go bike somewhere. Fuck.

about a month ago on this one lane bridge a biker cut in front of me right before the light turned green. and was going slow as fuck (mind you there is a separate lane for bikes and pedestrians which was wide open). then he had the audacity to stop in the middle of the fucking bridge so he could answer his cellphone which was in his backpack... needless to say me and my passenger along with the 10+ cars behind me were not to happy. i gave him a polite honk... but he had no consideration and rode slow as fuck in the middle of the road. when the bridge ended my friend leaned out his window and yelled FUCK YOU.. then the biker tried to chase us. i sped up and slowed down trollin him. its dbag bikers like him that give a bad name to the rest of the street bikers who i normally dont mind so long as they are courteous and keep to the side of the road/dont ride in packs of 1000

I bike commute every day. Teenagers are inconsiderate douchebags, and people in Prius's can suck my dick because of their inability to drive. That being said, if you are outside of any of those categories, You will be treated with utmost respect.

i goes my biggest grief is if you aren't going with traffic you shouldn't be on the road, and by that i mean in a lane. a bike lane is fine.


i pay a shit ton of money every year to put a license plate of my atv's when they can keep up with traffic, and do the speed limit on every road, but i am not allowed to drive something on the road the state makes me register but any numnuts can by a bike at wall mart and go and ride down the middle of the road.

my grief isn't with cyclist who do what they are supposed to and stay where you belong.
