Summer Jobs Abroad

Does anyone have any idea how an 18 year old American would go about finding work for a summer in another country? I know next summer is a long way off, however I don't think it's too early to start gathering some information on the subject.

If you're going off to college, (don't know if your young or old for your grade) most colleges can easily find you an international internship that is paid and is a great job.

I will be next summer (when I would like the job) is this still true even if you haven't been at the college yet?

Yes, I had a job in Rome this summer and it was my first year in college, just check if your school has like an abroad program, and ask them if they know anything about international internships or jobs
