because you don't have to be a contest machine to be pro. like literally you don't have to skate in any contests. ever. at all. especially not the fucking x games, dew tour, street league or any of those.

Gonna have to disagree, and Cole only had like 3 shots haha. Dropping in on the giant guarter would be scary as hell and the back 3 at 1:46 was sick too.

But thats just this edit, overall Chris Cole is a much better skater.

This is like asking why Andy Parry or Clayton Vila don'y compete, but are considered pros...

The reason is simple: Because they make me want to ski. there for buy products, especially theirs. I'd rather watch those two then a serious competitor, like Gus.

The same applies to skating.

When Rob Dyrdek was at his prime the X Games didn't even exist.

Rob Dyrdek's era as an athlete was in the 80's, before he started DC Shoes. The X-Games (then called the Extreme Games) didn't exist until 1995.
