Why Does Sony Vegas

keep making my clips go black. Like I will be editing and after a while certain clips will go black when it plays over them. How do I fix this? Has this happened to anyone else?

i had this problem, it happened to me when i imported the clip and then the clip was deleted or moved, try re importing them from where they are and dont do anything like move it till your done with the edit, once it has renderd and you never want to go back and fix anything, then you can delete it
