Mt.Hood/Jewel Basin/ and going to hike the local glacier monday or sunday...My mountain had snow till about mid june aswell winter seems to be still going

I did a torchlit descent in Portillo last night to round off a months skiing there, it was a lot of fun. Hopefully got a powder day coming in Valle Nevado on Monday.

well woke up @ 4am got the the base of the hill about 6am, it was a quarter mile up to the lake and a hike around the lake, got to the top around 730 am just as the snow turned to corn, the pitch was pretty steep, when i took each step my knee almost touched the snow was well, pics really don't do the justice. we all dropped it and had a good ride down, got back to the jeep around 845am and had a victory breakfast bacon, eggs and coffee. pretty epic way to start the day.

where is that? looks pretty sweet for end of July, Michigan has had no snow anywhere in the state for almost 4 months now, only halfway till the first snowfall of winter :(

haven't made it out since I started working in May. I just finished up work and have a month off. A few friends and I are talking about heading up into Kokanee Glacier to get some summer turns. If we end up getting it done I'll put a TR up.

i skied a 1500' vert couloir on blackcomb about 2 weeks ago and was skiing the glacier up until the 24th when it closed. Thinkin about goin up to the alpine and building a jump soon too, its ridiculous how much snow we have left

I skied on an indoor slope last Monday. Not great, not terrible, but it was free and had a bunch of features so all in all I'm happy.

However, if we're talking about REAL SKIING ON REAL MOUNTAINS!!!1!!1......then no I havn't.

Sick Man. I've been going up to Logan Pass quite a few times already. The snow here in Montana sticks around a lot longer than many people give it credit. And I don't mean little snow patches, there are some huuuuuge snowfields sticking around on those north sides.

hell yeah dude, ive got a good buddy in glacier and hes told me some good things about logans pass, trying to make a trip sometime soon. i hiked beehive basin in big sky on the 15th and got some nice turns in, stoked, but not as much snow as you guys have.

Last time I skied was July 4 in Mammoth. Drove past Shasta today and it was still loaded with snow and that just added insult to injury.
