A couple of my friends moved out from there homes when they were 16 and rent a small house near their high school. They had decent reasons to move out but it was so much harder than they thought. Paying rent, working to live/eat, is hard work. To add schooling the stress just got to them. I hung out at there place for a few days one time and they were'nt the kids i knew. If you knew them before it was easy to tell they'd changed and had alot more respect for the world (not that they weren't good kids, just had some screws needed to be tightened). Anyways they were on their own for about 3 months when they couldn't handle shit anymore and eventually went and resolved things with their parents. Kids are now sobered up, living a better life and even started doing well in school.
Moral of my story- You need family there to support you when things get rough. It may seem alright at the start but you are gonna wanna have them in your life man.
You're also 18 and I don't know your'e exact predicament but seems similar. Life always gets better. You just gotta deal with the rough times.
