and get karma. Non-VC is what most people say to get so i'm looking for that. i've looked around but i want to know i'm buying the cheapest possible one before i make a purchase. thanks

you mean 17-50? and i think ebay will be your best bet.

yeah bro, idk if ur gonna get it any cheaper then 350 off of ebay, mabye here. if u want something thats a little down grade on the quality, look at the sigma 18-55 i think it is? f/2.8-4.5 . or if u haven't gotten a cannon 50mm f/1.8 look into those, fun, cheap and are awesome.

also, why do people suggest getting the non-vc. it seems like the VC version is usually more expensive...
