Utah police have released the tape in which Olympic silver medalist Jeret "Speedy" Peterson tells an emergency services dispatcher he is about to kill himself.
The US freestyle skier made the call on Monday shortly before taking his own life in a canyon near Salt Lake City.
He was arrested in Idaho for drink-driving three days before his death.

The recording released by the Summit County Sheriff's Department on Thursday is 26 seconds long.
Initially calm, Peterson identifies his location.
When the dispatcher asks him the nature of his emergency, Peterson tearfully tells her he's going to kill himself and wants the police to come and get his body.
Peterson won the silver medal in freestyle aerials at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
