Need a Travel Bookbag Advice

I'm studying abroad in Luxembourg next fall and want a bookbag I can use for weekend trips across Europe. I already have a smaller bookbag for my laptop and books for class. I'm looking for something durable, waterproof, and with multiple pockets with decent security for my wallet/passport when I'm on the train or plane.
++++K for serious advice.

Dakine Helipro II. can hold a ton of stuff, has easy/multiple access to several pockets for a wide variety of stuff you're carrying, and it can hold skis/snowboards. ALso, if you want you could definitely do short backpacking trips with it cause it can hold a lot of stuff inside and has a bunch of straps on the outside and it has really good should, waist and chest straps, just lacks a frame-type thing so it's not as good for it.
I've done lots of skiing with it and go to school with it and traveled with it and it's easily the best backpack i've ever had. very quality bag.
