What's up Australia, I'm looking for a little advice.
I'm a 21 year old environmental geoscience student currently attending the University of Utah but making plans to study abroad for the 2012 spring semester. My question is where is the University with the best surfing? I'm fairly new to surfing but can hold my own and don't need an instructor.
I'm currently looking at Griffith University along the Gold Coast, but from what I have read it seems like it's going to be very touristy/crowded.
Nightlife is a definite plus, but in the list of priorities surfing lies further up.
I realize this regional forum might not get the most traffic, but ANY advice would be most appreciated.
