saw him at colgate a few years ago..from what i remember it was a crazy show

like the other kid said he does a real good job with getting the crowd involved...i remember a shit ton of kids getting on stage with him and the actual platform he was playing on broke, they tried to cancel the show but he told them he wanted to keep playing

Yeah cause all he does it press play and being a DJ takes no talent and everyone who tries it is automatically a pro. Glad I heard it from someone so educated in the music production field.

he played at my school with chidera, definitely go drunk and not stoned off your ass, you'll have a great time. although he ain't a musician, those people MAKE music.

Stupid as fuck. He stands behind a computer the whole time and presses play.

I mean if you're going to perform, at least perform, don't just play previously recorded crap and stand around with your thumb up your bum like MGMT.

There is a difference between performing live material and prerecording everything and simply pressing play. Artists like Pretty Lights or Skrillex (as much as I hate his music) have talent because they actually trigger/mix their samples live, whereas people like Girl Talk and MGMT literally just press play and stand around like dickbags. And yes, a true measure of musical talent is how well you can play live.
