Me and some of my friends have some sick footage of us from this year and i was wondering whats the best software to use or whatever. I want to do it fast so I can post it up here on NS.

wrong place to post it, but if its PC, get Adobe Premier 6.5..NOT PRO, if its a mac, Final Cut pro

i use what comes with my computer. windows movie maker, free and works really well. :)

you should start with something easyer, like imovie or windows movie maker or like a pinnacle program. if you get to advanced of a program you're just going to frustrate yourself, and us by asking question after question.

and to get it up here fast...whats the rush...take your time and do a good job on it dont just rush just to get something out it will look crappy. But yea if youre new to editing pinnacle studio is pretty staight forward. then you can move on to more advanced stuff with premier and stuff. If you are at a college, use i2hub.com off of direct connect. its basically a really fast kazaa connecting alot of the colleges on the east coast and some elsewhere, plus no spyware and i dont suggest downloading kazaa or any of that other shit, theyre nothing but trouble. hope this can help

i downloaded pro, but it's one of those things where you have to set your system clock back a year for it to work (anyone have a crack for it?)

that trick doesnt usually work anymore, theyve smartened up a bit...Usually its in the registry but yea im sure theres a crack but when you look on google and find a site that says it has it..be prepared for 100 porn popups and usually a key that doesnt work. But keep lookin, theyre out there

if you use a mac then just use iMovie which comes with OS X. it's a very good editing app for beginners and it's really fast too. iMovies built in scene detection kicks some very huuge ass.

but...if you have a PC then get the premiere 6.5, as said above, don't get the pro version because it is very hard to learn and it needs a shitload of cpu power to run fast.

ps. windows movie maker is a piece of shit
